There is no single treatment for arthritis. The treatment option depend on the nature of the arthritis and beside the treatment that worked for one patient may not work for another patient. Therefore there must be proper medical diagnosis by specialist and then appropriate medication. These drugs have the potential of relieving joint pain associated with arthritis and to stop further deterioration.Chondroitin help to stoften the joint and remove stiffness that normally associate with arthritis. Some measure can be taken now to prevent arthritis setting in at old age. These measure are as follow:
  1. Avoid sedimentary life. If you are in the habit of always sitting in one place for a long time and rarely move, you are more at risk of developing arthritis than someone who is always on the move.
  2. avoid causing damage to the joints through rigorous exercise that put undue pressure on the joints. The risk of joints damage are more among weight lifters.
  3.  Ensure you are not over weight . Over weight put undue stress on the joint .
  4. Consume the right amount of calories every day so as to avoid obesity. The ideal calories is 1200 calories.

Symptoms and Treatment of Arthritis

Arthritis is the inflammation of any of the joints causing pain in the affected joint and sometime the joint become swollen making mobility difficult. There are about a hundred type of arthritis identified so far but the most common one are oesteoathritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Arthritis is known to affect the young and the old but the risk of attack is more among the old.

  2.  There is general weakness of the body due to the effect of the disease
  3. Unable to fold the joint due to stiffness of the joint as a result of accumulation of crystal of uric acid in it
